UV/O₃/H₂O₂ (over-ozone photocatalysis) is a highly efficient post-UV-AOP advanced oxidation technology. This method utilizes high-intensity, high-energy ultraviolet light to stimulate H₂O₂ and O₃ to produce highly oxidizing hydroxyl radicals. These hydroxyl radicals oxidize refractory organic matter, causing chain scission and ring opening reactions, effectively reducing COD without causing secondary pollution.
UV/O₃/H₂O₂ (over-ozone photocatalysis) technology offers significant advantages, including strong oxidizing capacity and high mineralization, making it particularly suitable for treating refractory organic wastewater that is difficult to treat using traditional methods.
In practical applications, optimized design (e.g., O₃ and H₂O₂ dosage ratio, UV intensity, reactor configuration, pH control, etc.) is required based on water quality characteristics and treatment objectives, while also considering economic considerations.

Technical Principle
UV disinfection technology utilizes ultraviolet light (wavelength 254nm) to damage the DNA/RNA structure of microorganisms, rendering them unable to reproduce and effectively sterilizing the water.
