Plastic Sorting:
Plastic Sorting Equipment Description: Plastic sorting equipment enables large-scale, automated, and high-purity recycling of waste plastics. It separates high-purity recyclables such as PET, PP, HDPE, LDPE, PE, and PC from mixed waste, achieving high-quality recycling. Intelligent optical sorters are commonly used plastic sorting equipment. They utilize high-speed conveyors with intelligent recognition algorithms and a dense array of directional airflow at the back end for precise material sorting. Another commonly used equipment is intelligent picking robots. These robots are equipped with three easily replaceable actuators (soft grippers, suction cup grippers, and alloy grippers) to intelligently sort recyclable materials such as plastic bottles, Tetra Pak cartons, and cardboard.

Advantages of Plastic Sorting Equipment: The efficiency of intelligent optical sorters lies in their high belt conveyor speeds, reaching up to 3m/s. They can process a single row, meeting high-volume processing needs and suitable for sorting a large proportion of items. Intelligent picking robots are used for debris removal. Their actuators consist of three structural components (as shown in the figure below), and the appropriate component can be selected based on needs. They can sort items such as plastic bottles, detergent bottles, lunch boxes, and cardboard. Both systems offer extremely high recognition accuracy, meeting sorting requirements.
Application Areas of Plastic Sorting Equipment: In the high-quality recycling of waste plastics, intelligent optical sorters combined with intelligent picking robots can be used to precisely sort recyclable materials such as PET, PP, HDPE, LDPE, PE, and PC, achieving fine classification and high-value utilization. Intelligent optical sorters are used for rapid batch sorting at the front end, while intelligent picking robots are used at the back end for sorting and debris removal.
